Chinese New Year Celebration

Lion Dance

It was a wonderful sight, seeing so many of our students, members of staff and parents dressed in traditional Chinese clothing like Cheongsam or those in red.

We were treated to a variety of singing and dance performances at the Chinese New Year celebrations at our school this year. A special lion dance performance by students from Riam Road Secondary school took the celebrations to the next stage as everyone was looking forward to the performance especially our little ones from the Early Years.

We would like to thank our PTA (Parents Teachers Association) who gave out red packet or ‘Ang pow’ to all the students at the end of the assembly as a sign of good luck for the coming new year

Wishing you and your family good fortune this Chinese New Year. We hope your days ahead are filled with immense joy and prosperity.
