Despite being in lockdown, the International School has learnt First Aid and Emergency Response as one of the topic of their PSHE curriculum through online learning.

Our heartiest congratulations to Brandon and Hui Ying. They have been awarded the Top in the World awards for Cambridge iGCSE Foreign Language Mandarin (November series).  We are very proud of their achievements and also a huge thank you to Ms. Siong Siong for her guidance and hard work.

Welcome back to the new term! I hope you had a restful and relaxing term break. Our SSK students are finally back in the campus. It was wonderful to have our learning spaces filled with children’s laughter again. We have missed them so much!

During the pandemic, Performing Arts lessons have provided a real challenge to our creativity. Trying to rehearse in a socially distanced manner whilst wearing masks has inevitably had its frustrations for a subject where facial expressions and proxemics reveal so much about characters.

On Thursday, we had a visit from Cikgu Kamel of the Miri District Education Department. Cikgu Kamel visited our school to observe the Pre-School. He was very pleased to note that we are fully compliant to the our Covid-19 SOP.

The SiWu scholarship programme application for academic year 2021-2022 is now open. Equally different, extraordinary together; the SiWu scholarship programme offers exceptional students the opportunity to rise to their full potential and make their mark on the world.
