Posted onThe ‘Take a Bite’ Kuih-Making CCA gives its nineteen members an opportunity to learn about food from the Nyonya culture and bond by working together. Kuih is a general name for small, sweet goods that come in many different shapes, textures, and designs, such as fried banana kuih, ondeh-ondeh, and kuih ketayap. Kuih-making is an intensive hands-on process involving delicate wrapping, kneading, extracting flavours from leaves and fruits, and careful steaming and cooking.
