The temporary measure of distance learning is a new experience for me - it’s my first time trying to get work done through online classes and assignments. I've learned the importance of time-management, I’m able to manage and organise my schedule effectively and accomplishing what’s more important first.
- Xin Ying (Year 10)
The temporary distance learning programme has been very interesting; it has taught me to manage my time well and how to set a good daily routine at home. It has really helped me with my organisational skills and how to stay in control under stress.
- Karin Ong (Year 8)
We are an Australian family living in Miri and we wanted our children to continue their education following the International primary curriculum. I find the students here are happy, respectful and friendly. The school has an active PTA that works to build a community not just for the kids, but for the whole family.
- Deborah Ruth Pack (Parent)
Distance learning has been a great opportunity to learn good time management skills. I like being able to work at my own pace while still being able to get all the help I need from teachers and peers. Overall, the experience has been very fun.
- Sofi Lea (Year 9)
My child has improved significantly in her reading, writing and communication skills, thanks to the dedication and commitments from her teachers. The school is a wonderful place and definitely a great place for learning.
- Anthony Chin (Parent)
Distance learning is about being able to work at your own pace in your own space, all while still being able to communicate with teachers and classmates, which makes this whole new learning experience both fun and engaging.
- Minke (Year 9)
We have noticed enormous growth within our children, mentally and emotionally. The children are excited to go to school in the mornings and as parents we have never looked back. We are proud to be part of the school’s family.
- Michelle Oosthuizen (Parent)
My children are more confident, assertive and able to voice their opinions freely, which they would not have been able to do in Japan. There are a lot of opportunities in this school and students are encouraged to take challenges.
- Putri Kartikawati (Parent)
There have been many great changes around the school. I’m really happy with the environment and learning ICT has been really fun.
- Davika (Year 4)
I love the fact that I get to use so many of the school's great facilities - the auditorium, swimming pool, multiple sports, music rooms, art rooms and all the different CCAs and events that we can participate in.
- Stuti Chakravarty ( Year 8)
My daughter is more confident and is not afraid to speak up. The close interaction between the teachers and students makes me feel that my child is taken care of. The school also focuses on developing non-academic skills, e.g. leadership and communication skills and offers a range of extracurricular activities. Overall a great place for learning.
- May Lin (Parent)
My daughter has built up her confidence through her willingness to take on challenges in class without being pushed. She enjoys going to school and is able to concentrate during class, participate in all subjects, share her opinions freely and follow the rules given by the school
- Lily (Parent)
Both our children are much happier to go to school, and happy when we pick them up at the end of the day. This we feel is important for their learning and moral towards schooling. Home schooling was very well organized through teams/zoom and at short notice (overnight MCO). This also improved the kids’ IT / computer skills which is a new age skill for life.
- Mark & Adelia (Parents)
Every school day is a new day for my child, she comes home telling us the new things she has learnt as well as the friends and the teachers that she interacts with. The school syllabus is well balanced; students not only focus on their core subjects but also get the opportunity to acquire new skill sets through co-curricular activities, ICT, art and music. We are indeed happy and proud to be part of the Knewton Global Schools family
- June (Parent)
My child has deepened his love of learning in innovative ways, which he had opportunities to engage and tap into his natural curiosity, stoked his desire to learn and thrived in school and beyond. A close teacher-student relationship has helped my child to feel known, believed in and challenged to be his best throughout his learning journey. As a result, my child felt confident and assured in his academic abilities.
- Mdm Tan (Parent)
The teachers are nurturing and loving while providing the structure and guidance that my child needs. The small class size ensures excellent involvement between child and teacher. No words can describe how thankful my husband and I are to have Scarlett be part of the Sekolah Sri Knewton family.
- Doreen (Parent)
My children have the opportunity to be part of a global education in Knewton Global School. I see the drive and motivation in my child to achieve better in academic and also extra-curricular activities. They had fun and enjoyment participating in school activities such as trips and competitions.
- Dr. Arun (Parent)
We feel proud that our kids are in Sekolah Sri Knewton. Our children have become more confident and independent. The teachers make great effort to get to know our children as individuals and push them to levels they can and should achieve. We appreciate all the efforts done by the teachers and school especially during this pandemic. The online classes have been fun and enjoyable.
- Irene (Parent)
My children are happy with Knewton Global Schools’ education system as it is not solely focussed on academic achievement. Within eight months of joining the school, my daughter has learnt good swimming skills offered in PE lessons and in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA). She obtained a “Whale Award” in November 2018. Overall, the school has good facilities and most importantly, its health and safety provision.
- Karen (Parent)
Knewton Global school has the facilities to provide a well-rounded education which will better prepare my children for college and beyond in 21st century. My children love and enjoy their school life, they play and learn confidently, and they always look forward to their swimming lesson in school every week.
- Sherry (Parent)
Ever since our daughter started Nursery, she has been enjoying all the learning the School has to offer. She enjoys going to school every day. Knewton Global Schools offer a great school environment with their exceptionally great international teachers have made learning so much more interesting and enthralling for our daughter. The learning experience and exposure from these teachers are immensely valuable especially towards building the foundation from young.
- Jefferson & Catherine (Parent)
My son was incredibly nervous and worried because he didn't know anybody at all when he first started his year 2 in this school. He is in secondary school now. Notably, he has gained valuable leadership skills and learnt to learn at his own pace. Small class sizes and personalised learning have enabled my son to gain confidence in his learning. If you want to give your children a stellar education while they are nurtured to be their best, most confident selves then I encourage you to seek out this school.
- Laurie (Parent)
At Knewton Global Schools, learning is not limited to classroom education. There is a strong emphasis on gaining 21st century skills so that our children are equipped for their future endeavours. My daughter completed their IGCSE thanks to the experienced and skillful educators from Knewton.
